what is gather?
gather is cepa planning cooperative’s online community space built through the decidim platform. The goal of gather@cepa planning cooperative is to provide a space for ongoing engagement among the cepa community. This includes the community partners we work with as well as our co-op members. It is designed to act as a hub where we share ideas, present proposals, debate, inform, and choose the path forward together.
As a cooperative with members and community partners all across North America that share the goal of creating thriving communities, we believe that we all have much to learn from one another. The gather site not only provides an online space for residents to organize themselves locally, but also the opportunity to connect across communities through a larger network of cepa partners. It will include local community partner spaces, a co-learning lab, and space for members to participate in the cooperative’s internal governance processes and management.
We intend for gather to be a tool that our clients use for ongoing planning, learning, and engagement long after our contract ends.
